Finding Hope Charity Kit

Amy Head from the Guild AND NDISB came out with this awesome kit "Finding Hope Charity Kit", in her committment to raise money for Breast Cancer Awareness. Everyone who donates at least $5 will be given this kit. You can donate to this cause by sponsoring Amy on Oct 5 where she has committed to "Run for the Cure" . She had committed to raising at least $300, lets put her over that goal and help "Think Pink for a Cure". All you have to is go to her "personal donation page" make a donation of $5 or more and email her at (amyeileenhead at msn dot com) and she will send you the download link! You MUST use your name in the donation for accounting purposes. The kit contains 8 papers and 21 elements!

Here is a LO I did with this awesome kit!!! This will go into Maddy's album and it is about her other Grandmother who is a Survivor of Breast Cancer, and may they find a cure so that no other women must go through the pains and struggles of this horrible disease.

You ask me why I am excited, since I already have these kits...Well now more people can scrap their fun beach photos with "Summer by the Sea" from the August 2007 Membership kit and their garden and summery photos with "Avant Garden" from the April 2007 Membership kit!!! How fun is that!!! Oh and the Alpha in the Avant Garden is to die for it is such a cool all around alpha!!! Here are two new LO's I did for these kits as part of the Creative Team at the Guild:

Scraplift/Tag Challenge at the Guild

Gosh ... where does the time go, I thought I had just updated this blog only to find out it was two days ago...boy oh boy, I tell you. Well, I did a really fun challenge over at the Guild...it is a Scraplift Tag Challenge, and was part of the Artisan Notebook "Learn by Lifting" article, it was alot of fun to do and the information in the Artisan Notebook was soooo helpful, inspiring and just an overall cool tool to refer to!!! go check it out here and then when you just love this challenge go check out how to become a Guild Member!!! Well, back to what I was saying, I did this challenge and one Layout I started was a scraplift of Amson's (Carolyn) sweet LO "My Little Birdie", well, I started it but got stuck on the title, I just couldn't figure out how to do it...I knew I wanted the Bass to be in the Typewriter Font, but then I wanted Solo to go over it and everything I tired just over powered the Bass...so I kept putting it away thinking something would click finally, well guess what, inspiration hit in the middle of the night, yep in my sleep I worked it out and came up with this:
BASS SOLO

Cardboard Alpha by Birgit Kerr

So that was the May Scraplift/Tag and yep always late, but I got it done :D YAY!!! So then Debb did the great article in the Artisan Notebook that was based off that tag game and came up with a different LO to lift and it was of gonewiththewind's LO "Shine" , well I really wanted to use Amy Head's awesome kit "Southern Comfort" along with some "Bling" or is that "Blang" southern style, and so I added some glitter from the June 2008 "Bohemian Bling" Guild Membership kit, along with some other goodies, and this is what I came up with:

and of course the Artisan Notebook for inspiration and knowledge!!!

Thanks for looking!!! And hopefully I will get back here daily...but who knows :D ... Tell then Happy Scrapp'ng

Who am I!?!

Well, being on the Guild Creative Team we were asked to create a LO about reflection, it was wide span on what we wanted to reflect upon in our life, and I decided to reflect upon "Who am I!?!" Man it was hard to get started but my friend Christy (Crafts and/or Happy 2 Day) gave me a bit of inspiration and it just flowed between that and the Postage Stamp Class by Mary Jameson from the Guild...it ended up being alot of fun, from taking the pics with my new remote to putting the LO all together!!! Here it is:

It's been awhile...eek!!!

Well...it's the first of the month, and just like Christmas. Being a Digital Scrapbooker and signing up for the Membership kits is just like Christmas to me. A few days before the end of the month I start to anticipate that time when the 1st rolls around...and then I'm lucky because being that I am on PST I get to open my "pressie's" before the strike of midnight on the first. YAY!!! So anyways, I posted that I made the Creative Team at the Guild, well because of that I was able to play with the kit a bit early (check out my new blog header and avatar) and here is one of my lst LO's I made with the June 2008 "Bohemian Bling" Guild Membership Kit.
